What is Vita Consilium?

Consilium

(con-sill-ee-um)

Latin for counsel or guidance. It reflects the idea that each student’s education is guided by thoughtful planning, wise advice, and purposeful direction.

Conservatory

Traditionally, a conservatory is where musicians and artists train for mastery in their craft. At Vita Consilium, we borrow this concept: students join a studio, led by an advisor, and are trained toward mastery in their chosen trajectory— whether it’s science, business, arts, or beyond.

Together, Vita Consilium Conservatory means:

“A place where life and guidance come together, cultivating mastery and purpose.”

This echoes our mission: Giving kids the skills to lead a fulfilling life.

Explorers & Pathfinders

Students take part in over 100 job shadows to discover their passions and strengths during their first 2 years in Consilium.

  • Explorer Phase: Broad exposure to many careers and fields.
  • Pathfinder Phase: Deeper focus on areas that truly inspire them.

Projects at the Core

Every student maintains 3–6 active projects at all times. Projects may be community-focused, skill-building, or exploratory, but all are designed to meet professional standards.

Graduation Tracks

Students graduate through one of three tracks:

Scholar Track

Creator Track

Pioneer Track

All pathways require:

  • Demonstrated cross-cultural competency
  • Completion of multiple professional-level projects tied to life goals
  • A Capstone Project
  • An Exit Plan Presentation, where students demonstrate their readiness to launch

At Vita Consilium, students don’t just prepare for the future. They start living it now.

Students graduate with:

Current Vita Prep Students

While being part of Prep gives you a strong foundation, transitioning to Consilium is not automatic. The next step requires readiness, not just age or grade completion.
